    Have seen plenty of threads on the GTI version but has anyone experience in driving a TDI version with the DSG box. Would be interested in your opinions.

    I'd say its as good and its probly less hard on fuel.

    I've the 2.0 TDI DSG and it averages 950 per refuel.
    Lovely smooth drive as well.

    Now that's good. 420 for the GTI.

    I think it really suits the gear ratios of the TDI, even more so than the petrol version. T'is fab ;)
