You're joking about what side of the road they drive on aren't you?

I booked a car with Hertz through the Ryanair website, apparantly it's discounted but I don't know, I'll be over there on Saturday.

We were stayng down out side Marbella on route to Gibralter which well worth a visit if you have time.. Also lovely to go to Rhonda... If only there awhile be sure to go down to puerto Banus and go people , boat & car watching.... fascinating to see all the amazing cars and money taht is there!!

Around 25/day. Hertz, Argus, I found Hertz to be the cheapest but I've been told that some of the Spanish companies are cheaper again. I see one is advertising é124 per week, but I'd check the small print before hand.

Certainly read the small print. We're jst back from Malaga where he hired from Hertz. The weather wasn't great so he dropped the car back after 2 days and came home.
Maybe I'm just too innocent but I thought with car rental you pay for the days you have the car, I had pre-booked a week (plus one extra day). I read the contract well before leaving Dublin, not well enough. They won't refund anything, not a penny. What I really didn't like was they said I should get a refund if I contact the customer service office, they can't do refunds from the returns office. Now I know that's a load of ****e.
The car was fine, just a bit surprised a company the size of Hertz pull a fast one like this.

One other point, we wanted a childs car seat. The first one they gave us was in bits, straps twisted and the cover manky. The second one wasn't much better, they just dropped it on the floor and walked off. We waited 30 minutes for someone to show up and fit the seat and he didn't have a clue. I'm sorry I didn't take a pic of the effort, he basically wrapped the adult seat belt around the child seat a few times. No way of getting the kid in the seat when he was done. We eventually got help from another renter who was returning a similar seat.

Other than that they were grand.
