The Windows firewall is pretty good. I haven't had a hacker in yet. I will say this - I hate zonealarm. I have a list of reasons, but has anyone tried to uninstall it? If you don't have the original disk, you can't uninstall. Trying to maunally uninstall makes it lock down your PC so you can't connect to the internet - it blocks all ports if it finds something messing with it's source files.

YOu are forced to download the free version from the web (on another PC) then do a reinstall, then uninstall. Quite a pain in the hole when your trying to replace an old version where the subscription has expired with something else.
