Do people who have submitted their names already have to re-regester, and if so, rather than post can it be done by e-mail instead (ill have to get up and drive into the village and post a letter otherwise, and i dont wanna get up right now!).
If you need a signature i could always print a application form fill it scan it and e-mail it to oisin or hivemind or relevant other.
i'm just really lazy today is all.

    That was quick.

Ok, this is a dealio. If you have given your name to NOIP you will still need to fill out a members application form and return it to the address available by PM request.

The reason is that in order to be official we require a real signature, thats the acid test in case there is ever a dispute. So as a result scans, faxes etc are not enough.

Once we receive your application form it will be reviewed and if all the eyes are crossed and teas are dotted then you'll get a response letter confirming your membership.

As for your laziness, not to worry, that is catered to. Send it in at your leisure, we are very patient at the IAA.

I should Probably mention that the ID requirements are a photocopy of your drivers licence, passport or Gardai ID - no other ID will be accepted.

I take it that the application forms can be hand delivered as well? Perhaps they could be handed in at the Skirmish sites (with the owners permission? Just a thought as not everyone likes using snail mail. (I'm not bothered either way myself)

I havent a problem with that if Nonex wants to hold on to them but folks do so at their own risk, the IAA cant take responsibility for applications that go missing before reaching us.

And no, no one can deliver by hand to the postal address.

Would it not make sense to leave a mailbox, or something similar, and a stack of application forms at HRTA? It would probably be the easiest way to get a majority of players signed up quickly.

    1) Printing costs, the IAA is currently operating without a budget, the cost to print these things would just be too much.

    2) HRTA is a venue operated by Nonex not an IAA office, if Paul will hold the applications for you to give to us thats great but ... yadda yadda see above.

I've no problem printing off a couple dozen copies of application forms in work if paul gives the ok to leave them at hrta.

    Hey Nonex,

Sorry about that, I actually forgot to ask about it at salute (to busy with the throngs of people).

We appreciate whatever help we can get.

I'll be bringing a stack of forms down to HRTA this saturday for people who want to sign up. Don't forget to bring photocopies of your passport, driver's license or Garda ID.

Some of us can't get to the post office very often to buy stamps...too busy browsing airsoft retailer websites.
Some of us have had post go missing during delivery by An Post...I would not want photocopy of my drivers licence or passport falling into the wrong hands...like those terrorists the americans keep telling us about.
Some of us have embraced the digital age and refuse to acknowledge the existance of snail mail.
The glue on the envelopes and stamps isn't kosher...just think of our Jewish players!
Papercuts when putting stuff into envelopes. Enough said.
After 21 years of typing, handwriting is so bad that there isn't a chance in hell that the postie will be able to read the delivery address.
Some people take Apple's (TM) slogan a bit too seriously....Think different! (TM)
All the envelopes in my possession have 6mm holes in them.

Eh, yes, I'm jut taking the piss :D

138 bb's are what I would use for testing the hopup to make sure it's perfect.
