    Hi,

I used to have some Manga films on video years ago but they are all gone now (where, I'm not sure!). i've recently been trying to purchase them again on DVD. So far, I've got Akira and Vampire Hunter D, but did anyone ever hear of a film called Mars Wars? I'm not sure if I have the title right. In the film, people raced on hovering vehicles and there was inevitably mutilations and dismemberments!

    Kevin.

 ... ...that's mental. Yeh, it's definately Venus Wars. Why on earth did I get Mars and Venus mixed up? Maybe because I'm male... ...('Men are from Mars; women are from Venus')

    Thanks.

Where sells Manga films in Dublin? I've only checked HMV, Golden Discs, and Tower Records so far. I never thought to check Forbidden Planet; do they sell there?

    Kevin.

Yeah Forbidden Planet sell some of them. You could also try Lazer? Its near around South William Street(i think), close enough to Tower Records on Wicklow Steet. If you head downstairs in Lazer they have an Anime section there with some Manga titles.

Alright, cool. I'll check them out. Lazer isn't the one just off George's Street, is it? That's still on the same stretch of road as Tower Records.

Yeah that must be it. Not to familiar with all the street names :D

Tower themselves have a huge selection upstairs, including imported region 4 discs.

Do they? I was there but could not find any. Where are they: upstairs, turn right, and then down the very end?

As you come up the stairs they would be in the far right hand corner by the window. Very large selection of full season boxsets.

amazon may quick, but they are damn expensive. check out www.a1books.com and importcds.com if you are getting the stuff from the states.

... ...so I noticed today, yeh! In any case, I couldn't find Venus Wars but did see other tempting ones such as Ghost in the Shell and Grave of the Fireflies.

I'm just gonna' buy Venus Wars online.
