Need advice. Did Construction Economics in Bolton St. Came out with 2.1 degree in 2000. (Just missed out on a first, grrrr) Been working steadily for last 7 years, both in practice and directly for builder. In a bit of a pickle now though. Off work following bad car accident, can't drive long distances due to injuries received. Boss just told me they can't take me back anyway because business is so bad lately with downturn and they can't afford me any more!! So now I'm thinking of doing something part time, maybe a post grad, maybe even taking a whole new direction. However, construction is all I know and I love working in the building game. I'm confused now as to what is best for me. I need to work and I'm not getting any younger!!! So people, any ideas??

thanks for reply. can you just apply to colleges etc to teach?? or would i need some kind of post grad/h dip kind of thing?? I'd actually love to teach, it's something i thought of while i was in college, as in if some of these people can teach then so can i ;) !! I think i'll look into it and see where that gets me. Anyone know where to start?

Become a Building Energy Ratings Assessor and go self employed.
