    Hello,
Short time reader long time poster in Feedback.

After Needle_too's little escapade I started reading up on airsoft and intend to go to the Hrta this weekend with 4-5 mates for a half day to try the sport out. But I have a few questions.

Do we need to wear camo gear/heavy clothing?

Will there be enough guns to rent for 5 people?

Me and my flatmate wear glass's. Will the rental goggles cover the glass's comfortably?

    Whats the craic like?

Hey and welcome. Nice to know all that crazyness in feedback is doing some good.

You'll need something along the lines of a hoody for thickness when you're playing in the indoor section. But the outdoor ranges are much farther so it doesn't hurt much at all to be honest. Some people have even been playing tshirts.

Camo helps when you're outdoors but it's not a necessity for a first time visit.

There should be enough rentals. Contact Paul who owns the site first and book them. He has a website, it's HRTA.ie.

The rentals wear full face masks with a mesh to see through. So glasses shouldnt be a problem.

And the craic is great! :D

If you haven't read the newbie thread, you should give it a read over. Plenty of useful information.

You don't have to wear camo (I don't have any :(), but most of them have it, so they'll obviously have the advantage when it goes outside ;) But indoors it don't matter, nope.

Hopefully I'll make it this weekend........

krazy, walking shoes if you have'em, or shoes with which you don't mind treading ankle-deep mud ;)

Thanks for the reply, I read the newbie thread, most of the threads here and some other site. Most of the info I could ever need was here though.

I aim to try it for the day, if I like it I will buy a gun and move on from there.

Something like this could give me the edge.

    Or a g36c or m4, I'm not picky.

Not to mention camo makes you look 1337er ;)

I've actually become almost as fond of collecting the gear as I am the AEGs themselves now.

I have a perfect pair of runners that I could care little for(shown by the concrete on paint stains on them). Thanks for the heads up.
