heat from your macbook

    i need to resolve the heat issue im having with my macbook.
    does anyone else find it an issue?
    sometimes, i sit infront of it, and i almost get a headache from hte heat buildup, well an nucomfortable feeling anyway.
    but seriously has anyone got any siggestions, its really getting to me lately.
    i am buying an ilap, here it is:

    Download SMC Fan Control and turn up your fans RPMs. It'll drain your battery more at higher settings however, so turn it back down on the move.

    just noticed but it was a very bad design flaw on macbooks i think.

    you know where the exhaust fans are and the back of the laptop? well they get blocked when the screen is in the use position so basically the hot air has nowhere to go.

    that's my theory on it, probably wrong though.

    I don't find mine getting too hot unless I try run something intensive like dvd converting or a game or something, other then that its fine and don't even notice it that much even if I have it on my lap

    I have that "design flaw" on my G4 iBook.

    Meh. It's still bearable (even if my palms start sweating during intensive CPU activity).

    hehe! and meeeee dont forget little old me and the thread where I tried to tell everyone to get that wonder app!!! lol

    I bought - Cool Feet ventilate ventilate ventilate!! They work a treat and much more portable than my Cool Pad, which I use at home.
