Couple of shots that I XPro-d myself in some half price expired Jessops C-41 chemicals. Film was fuji 64T so I was expecting a little more in the way of screwed up colour but what can you do ?!?

These three taken at a cricket match I was at where all I had with me was a 20-35 zoom. Doh. People were asking why I wasn't taking pictures of the game until I showed them what the pitch looks like at 20mm... "those little white spots ?! THEY'RE the players ?!?"

This one was taken in the clubhouse afterward. Sean just arriving from the right with his round, look at that look of anticipation in neil's face :-)
    Expectant.

Just the one from the sand sculpture thing that was on in dublin castle. Very ozymandias :-)
Two vast and trunkless legs of ... SAND ?!?!?

Bunch more up on my stream.

X-pro results seem to be wildly variable. I've seen some fantastic stuff with some crazy colours. Every time I do it the results seem stuck firmly in the 70s :-) All part of the unpredictability I guess !

The first one is great, it looks like something you'd see on an album cover.

Thanks all, you know every now and again I get sort of disheartened and a bit down about my pictures, because no matter what you say about your stuff not meaning anything to anyone but yourself, if you're taking pictures in a vacuum you can lose track of things sometimes :-)

Came across your cricket bat shot completly randomly on flickr yesterday (wed)... just after seeing it again here now, and still amazed by the fantastic colouring in it.
Expectant is the gem here though, it has that feel of a photograph that will age beautifully, an expression captured at just that perfect moment. Timeless.
