DID FTA Kit (SelfSat)

Guys,
In one of the Sunday papers there was an ad for a FTA kit that didn't use a dish.

Don't suppose anyone has experience of the kit ?

flat panels usually use an array of passive elements that are combined and amplified to produce the output signal. They are not very effective across the entire satellite band and are no where near effective as a standard dish. in the centre of the foothprint they work relatively well, they are a bit of a gimmick and not suitable in bad weather conditions.

Selfsat has already been discussed on the foreign satellite forum
I have fitted a few of these around Co Wexford and have had no problems so far.
