Hi all,

I recently bought a shuttle pc over on adverts to make into a htpc. I will probably use Windows MCE.

The shuttle is a "Shuttle SB86i"

Right now, there is just a regular old on-board VGA, so I am thinking that I will need to invest in a better PCIe gfx card to allow me to get the full benefit when I hook this up to my full-HD projector (which I haven't bought yet!!...possibly a future post will involve me asking for a recommendation!!!)

Is there a particular gfx card that people would recommend? A quiet one would be better, but needless to say, things are squashed enough in the shuttle as it is, so maybe a fanless heat pipe would be pushing things too far?.....

My second requirement would be have the output from the HTPC also piped around the house to the other TV's so that they too can use the Media center using an IR blaster (or similar). Is this possible?....I had contemplated using an RF modulator to multiplex an SVIDEO output from the gfx card in with the regular coax around the house. However, I am assuming that this may not work so well given that the resolution of the MCPC will be at full HD!

Just wanted to get peoples thoughts before I go an start purchasing a gfx card!
