Was in to a garage a few times over the last few days about buying a VW Golf. Originally i went in for a 01 but a 99 caught my eye. Only problem being that it was 108k miles on it. Ive been looking at Golfs for the last month and the main thing i noticed is they all have a lot of miles.

My question is this, is 108k too much for an 8 year old car?

Well average is 12k per year so 12 X 8 is 96 so its not too bad. As long as it was maintained well you will be grand!!

There are lots of low-mileage Golfs around.
