played in the $750k gauranteed on full tilt last night & had the following hand in 1st orbit, so no read on villan.

starting stacks 3000. both me & villan on around 3500.

blinds are 50/100 & i'm on BB with QQ.

villan (utg +2) min raises to 100. button calls. i raise to 400. villan min raises to 800. button folds. i call.

    flop 8,6,2o.

villan checks. i bet 400. villan min raises to 800. i call.

turn 10. he goes all-in for last 1900.

    call or fold?

    comments on all streets?

i check behind on the flop after his 4betminraise pf
think i fold the turn, cant see him playing anything less than kk like this pf.

edit - just noticed your flop bet now, thats really weak. it makes me want to call his turn shove now.

I agree with Mr. Plough, check behind on the flop

You bet 400 into 1650. Even AK can call this bet or play back at you.

The flop minraise makes you almost pot committed on the turn, its costing you 1900 to see a pot of 3250 (?). So it looks like he trapped you.

cheers folks...AA or KK or even remote posibility of QQ was the first hands that entered my head and as there were no obvious flush/straight possibilities after the turn, had to put him on one of those hands so folded...

you have the action messed up, I can't tell what actually happened in your hand but I would probably go all in at some point.

even if it smelt of AA or KK & unlikely to get him off the hand?

It does smell like aa or kk alright, but if you are determined to bet out on the flop, you have to bet 2/3rds of the pot minimum, either that or check/fold to a bet.
