    hi

my other half thinks there should be no problem bringing a lappie to watch movies on plane, and leave in hotel etc but i am kinda anxious

i know people can't predict what will happen but for example apartment in crete how sensiible to leave a laptop in room all day ?

I am guessing they dont fit in those safe deposit things u can get ( sorry - first time on a sun holiday )

and is it covered under travel insurance? or under a normal household contents one if u bring it abroad ( in general ) ?

There are SOME apartments/hotels that have a safe big enough for laptop, I had one last year but didnt bring the laptop. haha. But I would defo not bring it on sun holiday. Would most likely disappear

I bring my laptop with me on holidays. I don't carry it in a laptop bag, just a backpack. It draws less attention.

My laptop fits in some safes in modern hotel rooms and if not, the hotel will take care of it for you.
