Trying to book flights to Seville for nov 4th but ryanair says they fly there no flights for that weekend or any other weekend from what i can find.

Went there last season but it was costly, is there anyone who flies there ?

I think Aer Lingus and Ryanair have suspended flights for the winter period to seville, best bet is going thru malaga and car-hiring. Can be pricey though overall.Try carjet.com if your going that way.

Bit of a shame neither airline is keeping the routes, there must be a market for one. Possible colluding with one another?

train from malaga airport to seville is really cheap, €16.50 and 2hrs 30mins. User friendly too, have taken the train the opposite direction and its a real no-brainer.Quick change of trains in Malaga but no more difficult than getting a dart from connolly to clontarf road

Try the train from Malaga to Sevilla, it's around 17 euro and takes just under 2 hours. Leaves you pretty much in the centre of the city.

Check out this place when ya get there

Ah APM beat me to it.... Morning.

I wouldn't have bothered with the connecting train from the airport though. taxis are cheap and will take you to the main station quicker.

Yeah... And Aer Lingus only fly there up till the end of October.

I used to have a girlfriend who lived there and what I'd do before the direct flights started up was get a flight into Madrid and get the AVE train down. It's really fast and does the journey in about 2 and a half hours and if it's ever more than 5 minutes late they give you a full refund... It's very rarely late though.

Flights to Madrid at that time of the year should be cheap enough and I think the AVE is about €60 for a return ticket.

The AVE is great but it's pricey. I varies depending on the time of day but a return is typically €100-€120

I was in Seville for a month there about 2 years ago during the Feria and Easter Festival. Good spot.

I took the AVE from Madrid coz I got a flight to Madrid for €34, but I wouldn't do it again. The AVE train is brilliant but it's too dear.

Fly to Malaga and take it from there.
