    just wondering is there a good sql tracer out there on the market that is available for free:D

    to trace what statements are been used by the sql server

    profiler is one that microsoft supply but you have to pay extra for it

    Microsoft SQL Server isn't open source, and I doubt there's an open source (which isn't the same thing as free of charge) tracer for it.

    You'd probably be better off asking in the Windows or Programming forums.
