Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ping?

I didn't actually realise boards.ie has a chess forum. Presumably all the people that (might) post here do play chess. Is there an online chess system which people recommend?

Most people on here seem to prefer correspondence type sites like gameknot.com and redhotpawn.com.

I think the main problem with yahoo is that it's difficult to get a longer game (Longer than 5 mins).

For longer real-time chess I usually use the ICC (http://www.chessclub.com/) or playchess.com using the free client or Fritz.
