i like the 3rd and 12th ones -- i think you posted too many photos (i do the same myself) , so pots and kettles -- also this guy duke special seams to be the most photographed musician on boards -- so you have lots of competetion -- thats why i like the 2 mentioned (if my counting is correct) , is that they are a bit different to the standards shots !

Haven't come across other collections of Duke Special as yet but as a general comment i think these are wonderful. To my eye the black and white are very appealing - generates quite a mood which i presume captures the essence of the occasion. thebaz is correct re: no 3 - something special here.

Yeah 3rd is great, really nice, unusal looking. 5th I think it is, in the top left I would lose the little white details. I think their lighting bits and bobs????

Ach, I know, I know.. I'm always the first person to say that less is more.
I'll take out the weaker ones now actually (if I can).
I'm quite happy with some of them purely because of how hard it was to get into a postition to shoot them.
The crowd were very unforgiving...

I'm a friend of his and look after some web-related stuff for him, so I've got quite a lot of photos.
I would normally say I'm sick of taking photos of him, but to be honest, I'm not - every gig is completely different and I'm never short of a new shot!
For example, I'll be going through my next set of Duke shots in the next few days.

Excellent pictures Stephen. I would have to say I like all except the last one, and I dont usually like that many gig photos. Favourites are 2, 3 and 5. 2 because I like the lighting in it and 3 because it has a strange look to it like a scene of chaos and 5 because of the link with the audience.. well done
