Some lawyer thought one of the laws refering to York was refering to New York.

    11. In San Salvador, drunk drivers can be punished by death before a firing squad.
Should take this over the motors forum for a debate

Reminds me of when Bono got the Freedom to Dublin City and was grazing sheep in Stephens Green

    You mean this one...
I don't know about the rest of these "laws,", but No. 6 is not true. New York City has no such law. I know because I'm a lawyer practicing in New York City and I took the trouble to check. Note that for none of these "laws" does the author provide a citation -probably for good reason.

    Jay, New York City, USA

It was easy to miss to be honest.

maybe it's prejudice on my part, but I wouldn't want to be defended in court by someone named 'jay'

I wouldn't want to be defended by a lawyer who missed words in a sentence.

Not sure how true it is or not, but my mate from York says that the York law is wrong. It's not that the scott has to be holding a bow and arrow, but that you have to use a bow and arrow to kill him! But like I said that could be wrong!
