    Hello all.

Seeking some assistance here. Thinking of buying this:

    http://www.powercity.ie/?par=10-12-37LD8

Anyone any opinions on it. Resolution 1300 (approx) x 768. Contrast ratio 1200:1. Analogue pictures look very clean.

    I'm between this and a 37" Toshiba.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    Freddie.

What are you going to be using it with?

What are you going to be using it with?

NTL Digital and Analogue - but after seeing it on Sky Digital (Sky News receiver output) I've decided that the Tosh has a much superior picture (contrast ratio 5000:1 and response time 5.5ms). What do you think?

Personally i would go for the toshiba, well known for their lcd tv's and higher specs for the same price. Sanyo havent exactly been a market leader when it comes to lcd's

Bear in mind that NTL Digital is by no means a HD source, if you watch a lot of sports you might struggle with the picture quality. Plasmas tend to cope a little better with NTL but still aren't great. Unless you use a HD games console, or are going to upgrade your DVD player I don't think it's worth changing TV's. As the technology gets cheaper you'll get a lot more for the same amount of money in 12 months time.

If I had to I'd go for Toshiba over Sanyo, but in reality I chose Plasma over LCD.
