Hi guys, just interested in your opinions on this as I had to get a new exhaust this week. I'm on a KLE 500 with 79k all weather kms. Basically its a long commute bike. I have to say up to this point anything I had done to it was maintenance. Its 3 yrs old in Nov. I was just wondering if you thought that I got a fair distance out of it? I think that if you just look at the age it is easy to answer no, but taking into account the amonut of kms on the clock what do you think?

Also it was fvcking expensive, I'm am used to bike parts being more expensive, however does anyone know where I could check out the price of a new exhaust online? Cheers.

What happened to the exhaust? Did the headers go with rot? 79,000 is a fair distance alright. It's not the age of the bike but how much it's done that I rate bikes by. Get the bike checked over for any other potential problems and have them fixed before the weather changes and you should get alot more out of the bike.

You might want to try e-bay for exhausts. I just got one shipped from the UK last week which was second hand but in very good condition.

The guys run their parts business through ebay but this is their website... see if its of any use...

Cheers for the replies guys, yeah it just rotted away. I get it serviced and checked regularly so I'm hoping to get a bit more out of it. Cheers for the website I'll check it out.
