Hey, About a year and a 1/2 ago i had a pc die on me and after a fair bit of money spent i got it up and running again, which with it almost being the end of the month im a little light on cash and cant spend allot.

Bascelly this is the problem, i came from from work and my pc was dead, opened it up owered on, the motherboard seems fine, there are no warning lights, however only two of my fans are working (i have 4 fans)

    The CPU fan works fine
    The case fan works alright
The motherboard fan does not work at all
The grafix card fan does not work at all,

When i turn it on the power light on the front of the pc does not work.

No here is my problem last time i had all these symptoms it somehow turned out to be the grafix card that was the problem because last time something like this happened i bought new power supply, then motherboard then cpu then ram then last a new grafix card.

So from what i dexcribed out the problem can anyone tell me if it is or is not a power issue? i cant afford both a power suply and a new grafix card, (and if i was getting one of those id get the g4se 768mb at the end of the month)

Anyway its not that bad i have my hard drives hooked up to my monitor through my dvd player though a scart lead, the resulation is a bit off but i have all my shows and movies so its not that urgent i fix my pc, i was just wondering was i right in saying its a power problem and not a grafix card problem (again)

    Thanks

Sounds like a powersupply problem to me. If you live around the rathmines area i can lend you a powersupply to test with.

Thanks for the offer but i dont, i have 2 older power supplys in my house but i doub tthey would do it, the one i had was 400w but i added so much to my pc recently in the way of grafix card that requires extra power 3 internal IDE HD's 2 external USB 500gb's i have 2 mise one wirelsss one not 2 keyboards and usb audio for my montior so i think i might try to pick up a good power supply that will actually last me more than a year.

    Thanks

why not try the 400W psu, with just one hdd and the graphics card. Just to see if it is the other psu on its way out.
