I've recently started using spanning sync to sync my google and iCal calendar. This works beautifully on my mac at home.
spanning sync is a system preference pane that facilitates this and uses iSync.

I've tried this in work where there is a proxy in place. It takes an interminably long time and never syncs. I have heard that iSync does not work with proxies(?).
Does anybody know how to configure iSync to behave properly with proxies.
AFAIK spanning sync uses port 443.

    Cheers

Yes, Spanning Sync uses a normal HTTPS connection over port 443. Please create a problem report (by opening Spanning Sync, clicking "Reset..." and "Create report") and email it to us at support@spanningsync.com along with a brief description of the problem, and we'll take a look.

    Thanks,
