Hey, My name is Rob im 24 and live in Delgany near greystones. Im looking to start a covers band to get practice and get experience.

I want an upbeat good buzz sound. My influences would be stuff like Arcade Fire, Hot Chip, Some of Bloc Party (Tracks like 'so here we are' is what i'd like to try playing). Other bands i like are the smashing pumpkins (not all their stuff though. The editors are good so are The National. I like a good bit of Blink 182, Travis Barker's Drum style would be an influence of mine.
Anyway, What I want to do is find a guitarist, Bassist and singer that would be interested in trying tracks by bands like these and others. Of course whatever stuff you like too.

I would hope to meet people on the same musical wave length as me. I would not really be mad up for the classic rock buzz, like The Beatles, The Stones and all the infuences that are high on most of the influences lists. I would like a kind of fresh and lively sound with a few epic songs like 'No Cars go' in there too. Anyway if there is anyone i haven't pissed off (sorry) that might be interested let me know.

P.s. - I've only being playing for a few months so still trying to improve.

    Cheers, Rob
