    Hi,

I am going to be moving soon and will be bringing my skybox but not the dish. The dish on my current apartment is shared (dual LNB) with the people living next to me so I cant take the dish. I just need a dish and so far I have been unable to get my hands on one. I see lidl are running an offer on a [URL="http://www.lidl.ie/ie/home.nsf/pages/c.o.20070830.p.DigitalSatelliteSystem"80cm dish[/URL] in the coming week. Would this dish be large enough for use with the Sky satellite and my skybox? Or am I am looking in the wrong place for a dish?

    Many thanks

Go to satellite.ie and get yourself a decent triax dish if you intend staying in the house long time, don't bother with cheap lidl dishes. You could always buy a sky dish. Though AFAIK, you can make a deal with sky, i know one mate who rang to cancel because of moving and they offering free installation of new dish at his new place, he just had to brnig the sky box.

Hi there. I have just bought a second hand house and they've left the dish behind. We don't want to use it as we have one of those digi box things. Will i still have to pay Sky because I have the dish or will I have to take it down. I was hoping I could just leave it there and not have to worry about it. Can someone help me on this. thanks.

Nothing to worry about. The people who lived their previously were the ones with the Sky account. The account is tied to whoever set it up, not the property.

o.k. that's cool so I can just basically ignore it then and if i ever want a dish or sky i can just get it hooked up?

Where are you based? I have a 90cm dish, single LNB which you can have if you take it away. It's in excellent nick and I have the mounting brackets and U-bolts to attach it to a pole. No pole or brackets for the wall though! PM me
