Hi ZenZen - Check out www.karina-collins.com. Here you will see a lot of Karina's previous work. Karina is one of Cork's/Ireland's up-and-coming artists, having been based in Germany/Switzerland in the past. I have some of her work, as do several of my friends - her work varies from abstract to softer images - and she also does commissions. The best thing about Karina's work is that it is "AFFORDABLE ART" - a motto she likes to use. Happy shopping!!! J

There is a great shop on Washington St, on the side where the Kino is, a little before you come to the Kino.

Another good way to buy affordable art is to pop along to charity exhibitions.

There's a good one coming up in November, in a gallery above Richardson's Tile Shop on Penrose Quay (city center, over by the Train Station direction). Open Friday November 9th to Sunday November 11th.

A group of about 50 artists, are displaying their paintings and a certain percentage goes to the Marymount Hospice.

The works are affordable from between 100 euros - 600 euros.
