Turn check may have induced a bluff here.... Any notes of him floating before or getting jiggy in these spots?
I'm TPTK merchant so shove for me. Not too worried about the flush.
    Effective stacks 100BB right?

    yeah 400 stacks..
no not a floater...seems to give up most often on flops - hence flop call worried me.

    not worried about flsh -
but - Would most tight players check behind here with QhQc - ThTc??

Nope I think they try an oul' shot at it with those hands occasionally(Free cards are nice too). JJ too is betting here I suppose. you kinda underepped yourself here on the turn, shown weakness IMO

Had an almost identical hand last night where he had villain JJ :( Me head is melted.)

I lead turn for 160ish and call a shove. I can only see him with TT+ AK,AQ & AJs maybe, don't think he would he call PF with SC's and small pairs though. As played shove still is good for me.

Actually I feel I lack the testicular capacity to analyse this hand to a satisfactory standard.

EDIT: Put some text in bold

if he is not a floater, then I think you should fold, because nobody bets QQ/TT here.

However, its remarkably difficult to do that in practice.

I would shove the turn - you dont want to give free cards to single hearts, and he very rarely has a flush because its standard to shove that into the cont bet

quote from a recent thread on 2+2
the only time we can reasonably represent a bluff is by shoving the turn and it's our only chance against a reasonable player to represent a hand weaker than we have.

Agree. I think he almost never has flush, his calling range of your 3-bet when he is UTG includes no real hands that can make a flush by now, as well as that he would have shoved flop if he had a draw.
If you're beat it's by JJ.

    metagame schmetagame...

If I push turn worse hands ain't calling. i know pots big. but wont even a nit nit bluff this turn sometimes..

    results:
I CRAI (i checked he bet half pot) he called with JJ.

edit : aafter playing with him some more - turns out his stats are 17/6 over 500 hands - would have made my decision a little clearer

How do nits get this far with a bluff hand?

If I push turn worse hands ain't calling.

Worse hands are not betting either though, and you are more likely to get called here than on the river. Plus if it gets checked through and a 4-flush comes, you are screwed.

when i played hand i didn't think he was unduely nitty.

you've said QQ TT wont bet here... perhaps - but they are more likely to bet than call

    Talk to me Fuzz.

So as i turns out this guy was really nitty... Could you summons a check fold (as he wont bet worse hands) on this turn??

if it's checked through and no heart on river value bet 1/2 pot fold shove!

    Tnks
