Buddhist Centre in Dublin

    Is there anyone who can tell me something about the Buddhist Centres in Dublin? I've been thinking of going to one for a long time and can't seem to get myself to do it. I guess going myslef would be the best solution but there are a few of them and I just wanted to check if maybe there's anything somebody could tell me about them

    I was thinking of shambala or dzogchen. I don't really have anyone among my friends interested in Buddhism, not to mention practising it. It would be nice to meet people who won't think this is just a meaningless hobby I will get tired of after a while.

    You could try the Dublin Buddhist Centre off Leeson street.
    I recently did an introduction to meditation course there which was pretty good. They have regular meetings, women's evenings, talks, trips etc.

    Thanks. It's actually very close to where I work and they have loads of interesting courses so I might choose one.

    www.meditateinireland.com run loads of classes all over Dublin. They originate from Buddha Shakyamuni & Je Tsongkhapa
