Anyone know of a decent (free if possible) firewall i can install on a Win2K machine.

Rebuilt a machine recently for a mate, installed AVG on it and have fully service packed it. He's got a broadband link with no firewall on it. I've suggested he by a hardware firewall but in the mean time I was gonna install Zone Alarm unless you lot can go one better than it?

ZoneAlarm would do the trick. I just dislike how it insisted on adding an anti-spam toolbar to Outlook the last time I upgraded to the latest version and, despite turning it off, it kept coming back. I was using Win2K up until not so long ago. I used Comodo's free firewall. It worked very well. Just had to tweak security settings for networking to allow UPnP devices work fully.

Comodo is considered the best, but ZoneAlarm will do a good job as well. Would be down to those two id say.
