Been having this problem for a while now.

Basically when I go to a website it will show an old page that I've already visited and I have to hit refresh to get the up-to-date page.

It is annoying because if I go to hotmail for instance it will show my inbox and not even ask me to sign in so I have to hit refresh and then in brings me to the sign in page!

It happens with almost all websites.

Anyone else have this problem? What do I need to do to fix it?

First off, give your computer a good kick. Always makes you feel better.

Secondly go to Contol Panel > Internet Options > Delete Cookies / Delete Temporary Internet Files / Clear History

That should fix your wee problem.

Thanks for the reply mate but still having the same problem.

I deleted all cookies/temp internet files etc. Even ran ccleaner.
Even re-intalled internet explorer 7 and when I just logged into boards it showed yesterdays time and date on the main page so I had to hit refresh again to get the up-to-date webpage!

Any other ideas I can try? Cheers.

Run windows update, the select custom updates and select all updates. Restart when installed. Maybe check that popup blocker isnt preventing access to certain pages. Download and install spybot to make sure no browser hijackers are installed.

Click on tools --> internet options --> click on the settings button in the browsing history section on the general tab, and make sure "never" is not checked in the check for newer version of stored pages section
    hope this helps.............
