There are loads of place to stay in HKG. 2 that I have stayed in are, The excelsior in Causeway bay and The Eaton on Nathan Road in Kowloon. Both were fine nice hotels but have a shop around for a deal.

Also best airline to fly to Ho Chi Minh
I flew Cathay Pacific (dunno if they are the best but they seemed ok). Stayed at the Novotel in Saigon for a couple of days and then headed to Phnom Penh,Sihnoukville and Srim Reap
    Then flying to Bangkok

Again best airline and were to stay
I've flown Bangkokair around that part of the world and they are very good but not cheap. I've flown Srim Reap - BKK and BKK- Samui with them.

Then hope to chill out in Thailand so looking at were to go from Bangkok

Then we have to fly back up to HK to get home any good airlines from Bangkok to HK.

one of the cheapest airlines in that area is AirAsia. not sure exactly where they fly from but have a good few flights going in / out of bangkok anyway

I stayed in the Ark Bar on Chaweng Beach in Koh Samui. excellent spot, very lively, good atmosphere - defo the best place to stay on Chaweng Beach - its not the cheapest place around but its not too expensive either. about €15 per person per night.

Also went to Phi Phi and stayed in a place called Chao Koh Phi Phi Lodge which was very nice, good location etc.

Then we have to fly back up to HK to get home any good airlines from Bangkok to HK

just checking flights from HK to Ho Chi Minh with Air Asia their website is muck

Rang them up in their London office and gave me a mad price. They said if I ring them and reserve a flight with them they can hold it and I can pay for it over there and it would be cheaper

So land in HK straight to the Air Asia desk and pay and collect tickets

Is it cheaper to book when you are over there

Bought the Rough Guide travel book so still looking for places to stay thanks for the advice
