Entering the US from St Lucia

Myself and the gf are getting married in St Lucia next may and we're thinking of having abit of time in the US for our honeymoon.

I presume there won't be any significant problems regarding entry visas etc because we're coming from the Carribean rather than directly from an Irish airport.

We'll have hotels etc booked and will more than likely be going through JFK or Miami

Anybody ever travelled a similar path and had any problems?

Did a similar thing last month entering Hawaii from the Marshall Islands - no worries at all - exactly the same as if you flew into the US from the UK etc...

The only thing will be that you will still need to go with the names on the passports when you fill in the forms ! ( say's he assuming there will be a name change ;-) )

Thanks. I've only ever flown direct but I've seen the immigration side at work in JFK (and elsewhere) so I've no problems there

As much as I love her, she is the sort who would forget to put her "maiden" name on a form... ;)

Heh.... That's the only real thing to rememberr. The process is exactly the same procedure as doing it in Dublin.

Just remember to stay behind the line until you are called !! Damn things are run like a school yard :D

    Oh - and congratulations !
