They must be doing some housekeeping in Montrose cos they appear to have
found the Series 4 box of Larry Sanders that they 'lost' a couple of years
    ago.

A graveyeard slot for one of the all-time great comedy programmes ???

    The Larry Sanders Show
    Wednesday 29 August
    2:00am - 2:25am
    RTE2
    Roseanne's Return

    fantastic show
pity about the slot but then its not unusual for good shows to get such bad slots

Was watching it on the train this morning - great show. Hank's a legend and Tambor shows his acting chops (he's completely different in AD). The only thing that's a bit of a shame is that some of his guests are nobodies now (although it was weird seeing a mini mini mini 6 year old Haley-Joel Osment recently on it).

Genius. What dvd recorders are made for! They never released any of the full seasons on dvd, just a greatest hits compilation.

Why must it be on so late ffs. One of the best shows they have ever had, still miles better than a lot of the crud being broadcast at the moment.

It's quite bizarre how RTE keep on putting decent shows on at random times... At least this is an old show, but the 1st season of Friday night Lights (which is class btw) was shown at like 3 in the morning or something...

ITV showed it at a far more reasonable time (like 8 in the evenings or something..)

It never got a decent time here even at it's height in the US. Grew up with Larry (late at night)

I have the first season on dvd, it was possibly an US only release though. I got the rest from the usual sources recently, chuffed, never thought I'd manage to eventually get them all.
