Hey everyone, I know it's been mentioned before but I can't find the thread.

I'm looking for the website, I think it was Canadian, that people recommended for importing games. Pre-ordering Guitar Hero III and Rock Band and amazon.com won't ship them outside the US.

There's a few good shops on ebay too. Got profootball 2K7 and Tiger Woods 08 for about 40-45 yoyo's each.

Importing Rock Band might be a problem, it'll be a pretty big kit.

Yesasia will not ship sony games, accessories due to the whole lik-sang thing, same with play-asia. Videogames plus is the best bet, though they are a whole lot more expensive.

powersellers on ebay generally work out at around 45euro for new games if you choose buy-it-now options, and i think amazon.com will ship select games.

Well I pre-ordered Guitar Hero III fine from videogameplus.ca, shipping was expensive enough, but so worth it. It's out there at the end of October, not out here until just before Christmas.

They don't have Rock Band availible for pre-order yet, I don't care how much shipping costs, I'm getting it seeing as it's not scheduled for release here until Q1 2008. I can't wait any longer for that freakin' game!

You do know that when you import such big packages the likelyhood of getting hit by vat and customs increases exponentially. Be aware that you could end up paying more than you expected for those games

Didn't want to start a new thread, I was just wondering if anyone knew how long shipments from videogamesplus.ca usually take to arrive. I've pre-ordered GHIII but if it's going to take 3 weeks or something to arrive I may awell just wait until it comes out here on the 23rd Nov, which coincidentally is the same day Rock Band comes out in the US, which I have also pre-ordered.

Just want to say www.dvdboxoffice.com lets you purchase games also with free shipping.

Excellent, nice one, I'll check it out for future pre-orders. Had trouble finding places that would ship Rock Band and GH to Ireland because of the peripherals being classified as electronic goods. But there's a few games I'll definitely be importing.

Cool thanks, I was hoping it was going to be closer to amazon.com nearly every time I've ordered a DVD from them it's arrived in about 7 business days which is good going. Will have Warhawk and Pro Evo to keep me occupied anyway!
