I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, sorry. Firefox is bugging me at the minute. When I type a URL into the address bar I'm brought to a google search page instead of the page I'm looking for. It's really irritating. I presume it's something to do with the google toolbar. Do I need to disable it or what? All help appreciated.

What version of Firefox are you running and can you provide an example of an address? If you mis-spell or leave a space in an address accidentally the Google search is triggered as far as I can see on my version (2.0.0.6). For example if I type in 'microsoft' in the address bar I get brought to a Microsoft page automatically but if I type in 'mi cro soft' I get brought to a search page.
I have no idea if it's related to the Google toolbar as I don't have it installed.

If you think Google toolbar could be an issue, disable it and report back.
Maybe provide a screenshot of what happen.
