Surf Report Camera

    Hello,

Im getting a new version of my online surf shop developed, something i am personally spending alot of time working at myself and paying alot of money to have done.

The biggest attraction to my website is to see a photograph i take every morning of what the surf conditions are like at my beach.

However this is alot of effort taking me up to 15minutes each morning between bringing laptop to work, taking photo, connecting to internet, uploading photo etc etc.

As im not in the shop every day the photograph can become inconsistant and if i arrive to the shop to find things busy i get very delayed in taking the photograph. However since im spending alot of money on the website i have decided to take the jump at providing a streaming webcam from the beach similiar to what is allready available at another stores website www.lahichsurfshop.com.

However i have priced up the camera they are using and its not cheap. These things cost over 800euro and to say the least arent the easiest things to install even for a IT student in college.

So heres my question, does anyone know of a cheaper alternative to these axis camera's similiar to what www.lahinchsurfshop.com is using and something a little more friendly to put together. Oh yeah it would also need to plug directly to LAN as there wouldnt allways be a pc in the shop.
