Was there last june for a festival.. living on las ramblas
For food: depends where you go really.. street food is really cheap.. €3 for a super donar/chicken kebab type wrap.. which is so big it's hard to finish.. stopped eating them after day 3 tho as they do terrible things to your insides!.. tapa's are really cheap too..many times we ate out were made up of 2 or 3 tapa's each about €8 euro.. There is too many restaurants to choose from.. some were good and some were bad.. no way of telling untill it you get it.. went to one restaurant which looked "fancy" slightly more expensive €12 - €20 a meal and it was cat.
If you get a place where you can cook you have to check out the market on las ramblas it's unreal.. go home then and cook your own dinner with all fresh ingredients..

As for drink: the grog shops are really cheap, bit under half the irish cost..
This isn't the same in the pubs tho... a vodka and RB can cost the same as home and pints are €3 ish depending on what it is.. cocktails were €5/€6

    hope that helps!
