What alternative is there to a VW for around 8k euro in a van? Diesel, preferably tdi?

Reason agains VW, (Golf, caddy etc) is they're too common!

Fiat Doblo Cargo, Renault Kangoo/Nissan Kubistar, Citroen Berlingo/Peugeot Partner Opel Combo

What do you need the van for, would a car based van be ok?

I drove combo vans for a couple of years, drove them all at some stage i'd say, caddy, berlingo, kangoo, combo etc etc.. the one that was by far the best was the caddy. Felt more like a car than any of the rest

Maybe they're so common because they're good vans ;)
