passport for the US

    Howdy, Heading to the states for a few weeks but dont have a machine readable passport, just got the normal one. Do i really need one to go?

    Most recent passports are machine readable. Are you confusing it with the newer biometric ones?

    If it looks like that on the back and has the <<<JONES<<<<JOHN stuff on it, you have a machine readable passport
