That one should work fine, was just going to post it. Price is reasonable.

The Cruzer Micro is a lot cheaper on 7dayshop but I don't know if its Readyboost compatible.
From what I read though Readyboost barely makes any difference at all?

AFAIK nearly any flash drive is readyboost compatible, even MP3 players or digital cameras :). The only difference with "readyboost compatible" drives is that the manufacturers pay a certification fee to microsoft who test it to make sure (which then gets past on to the consumer of course).

The OCZ V-Boost is a good choice - and given it is certified by Microsoft there will not be any issues at all. Some other drives may work or they may not, it really depends on the memory controller used in the drive.
Another good choice is the Patriot Xporter which is on MemoryC.com as well - it is bulkier but the design is cool! Oh, and it is the faster than the OCZ drive :)

AFAIK Readyboost wont give much boost if you already have more than 1Gig RAM in your computer. For less than 1gig, then you're flyin

    Hi,
Never heard of these before, seem like a great idea.
I am so behind the times, do these work on any windows machine or do you need something specific on your system?
I was thinking about this for my laptop/desktop, both only have 1gb ram.
    Cheers.

Readyboost is a new vista application which creates something similar to a 3rd cache in terms of memory using flash devices (usb keys/sd cards etc etc) the usb key is used as a buffer to quickly store and then send back info to the device when using demanding applications. There are a few requirements in terms of d usb write/read capabilities to be compatiable for readyboost and not all usb keys will work. Its perfect if you plan to use vista and have only small mem on computer such as 1gb (As far as i know 2gb machines wont notice huge difference unless running games etc)
