Are there any water based lubricants that can be found in the home,
or any things that are not intentionally sexual lubricants that can be used with out breaking the condom,
or will I just have to buy lube in a sex shop?

You need to consider the fact that using non-hygienic substances for lubricating purposes may cause infections in the female.

Lube can be bought in any chemist or infact in most Dunnes' stores shops in the shampoo isle.

I know that my next comment should belong to the S&S forum but lubes can be a lot of fun, get a tingle one or one of the others, it can really spice things up in bed!

You could try getting Durex avanti condoms, since they're non-latex you can use oil based lubricants with them.

    Short answer, no.
Longer answer. There are plenty of things that will have a lubricating effect, however the effects upon mucus membranes and/or the risk or infection and/or the risk of providing a medium for nasties to grow on are pretty high. DO NOT wonder around your house looking for something sufficiently slippy unless you have a very good knowledge of chemistry and biology.

KY Jelly. It's not a euphemism when they call it "surgical lubricant", it really does have other uses.

It's never been necessary to go to a sex shop to buy lube (though, they do sometimes have large containers you can't normally get elsewhere). KY Jelly's been available in chemists since for a long time. I'll wager since before you were born.
I'd go to a supermarket though, since I'm in supermarket's more often than chemists.

You can, but remember that oil based lubricants can be harsh on the membranes of a vagina or rectum, so it's still not always the best idea.

Where to get it has already been covered, my suggestion on using lubricant is less is more!

Using a lot will help you get inside your partner alright, but it also reduces the sensation for you and may result in you slipping inside too quick, which can hurt like hell for your partner!

get yourself a tube of ky, hide it in your wardrobe and don't even dream of using ANYTHING else.

Why are people embarrassed buying condoms? I never understood that.

KY is available in Tescos - and I think they might have started to stock the durex heat or tingle brands too - otherwise you can get these from the chemist (their a bit more fun than your ordinary ky ;) ). Enjoy!

yep the primary use in our house is to stop wetsuits from cutting.

If it is the embarassment factor that is bothering you, then buying supplies online might be an option.

    Dont get the heat one!
Got that before and it felt like molten lava in a bottle.
