    I just played this hand

    2+2 pot limit.

I have $200 BB has about $130 - only at the table 5 minutes

I have AQos, and raise UDG to $5 2 callers and then the BB raises to $12 I call and so does both other players.

    Flop comes Q J Q (2 diamods.) 1 spade

Checked to me and i raise $15 ( i know it should have been more)

2 fold and the the BB calls.

    Turn 10 spades

    BB bets $78 i call,

    River 6hearts.

he moves all in for about $22 more

how would you have played this?

Looking back on it i know i should have reaised more then 15 on the flop. then the 10 scared me, Incase he was raising with AK.

This isn't tricky. Bet more on the flop, raise all in on the turn.

Seriously man, are you off your tits?

    As Cardshark said.

Bet near the pot on flop around 40/45 will do, get the rest in on the turn.

how would you have played this?

I hope you called him for a start anyway!

Your $15 bet is very poor, triple it and push on the turn.

100% with cardshark, and your own thoughts about flop bet as well.

its not a tricky hand, its poorly played but not tricky, as played its irrelevant whether he has AK or not, u call the $22 now anyway, why in gods name did u bet $15 on flop??

and why have you posted it, i may seem too critical,im just home from the pub :p but seriously, what are u asking about? bet more on flop, with stack size the hand plays itself and the result is pretty irrelevant

EDIT: also what possesed you to just call his turn bet?? were u planning on folding for the extra 22? or did u think he would fold if u raised?

If this is tricky, fold pre, give everybody $10, and go get drunk. Much better use of time :)

i guess what he means is the hand has now become tricky as obviously he has let villain in on his straight draw for cheap.
Were you trying to trap or something with the flop raise?

As above.... You Have a monster hand..... he is expecting you to bet that flop whether you hit it or not... I would call a PSB here quicker than a 15$ one... you need to bet out the % of the pot that is your normal c-bet... and then get it in on the turn..... your hand has improved and we still have no idea of his holding...

well i did mean it ended up tricky.. Not at the start.

I was trying to trap but the 10 fecked it up.

I did call the 22 at the end and he turned over AA, ;)

Thanks for the comments and i know i bet to little on the flop.
