A tribute to 70s Celtic-Rock band Horslips will be playing three gigs this weekend. Calling themselves 'Horslypse' the band have been together over two years and have been lucky enough to share the stage and play along with the original band.

Friday 24th August - The Quays, Galway
Saturday 25th August - The Forum Theatre, Waterford
    Sunday 26th August - McHugh's, Drogheda

With a repertoire of over 40 songs with the likes of Dearg Doom, Furniture, King Of The Fairies and Trouble with a Capital ‘T’, Horslypse bring alive the celtic rock genre once made famous by Horslips for both young and old alike. Horslips founder and keyboard player Jim Lockhart has described Horslypse performance as “just knockout,” while guitarist Johnny Fean declared “those boys are rockin’.”

You can give them a listen from many samples on their website, aslong as full tracks on their myspace.
