Exchange Push Email Service $20

    Hi,

for anyone with a Windows Mobile Device with push email, such as the Treo 750v, (as I have), I just found an Exchange hosting service for $20 one off donation. It's run by a guy from xda-developers.com. The link is here. I had previously been subscribed to 4smartphone.net, but they have changed their pricing structure, and the cheapest package is now approx $16 per month. This guy is providing full exchange hosting, with offline Outlook access, aswell as online outlook 2007 for a single donation of $20. Reading the thread, it seems to be pretty reliable, and has been running for quite a while. You can also setup an alias, ie your existing email address, and either forward your existing email to the exchange server, or setup the server to retrieve mail from the pop server (slower). This makes any email sent from the exchange server or mobile device seem as though it's coming from your original existing account. I must say it works a dream so far.

I timed a message from my gmail account to my existing email address forwarded to the exchange server and then to the phone - 15 seconds until the phone beeps with a new message!

In case anyone is wondering, I have no affiliation with this, and no gain from referrals, I just thought it was great value, and easy to use for anyone with a Treo or similar device like mine.

Cheers, Ro-76, I signed up for this last night, the guy had me set up and running in literally 60 seconds, incredible! Works like a charm with my PDA and my desktop Outlook.

    Thanks for the post.
