Card Clubs

    Hi Folks,

    I was wondering if people here could recommend a few card clubs that would be interested in hosting groups on a regular basis. I am looking into organising poker with a few of the lads in work. Ideally I would like the same players to play every week/fortnight etc but thats not possible coz of peoples commitments and presents a problem for getting somewhere to regularly accomodate us.

    What I was thinking about was maybe booking a table at a card club somewhere (prefferably in town) and whoever turns up buys in and plays (depending on how pricey this can be).

    Any ideas or feedback from people who've organised something similar maybe.

    Dave

    You can book a table in most of the casinos in Dublin and pay for a dealer and split the costs among the players. Up to yourself where you play. You could even try out all the clubs if you prefer.

    Hi PDD,

    If you like, I could organise that for you in Luke's new place on Merrion Square.
    PM me if you want.

    Hi Folks,

    Cheers for the feedback. I was wondering if anyone knows a ball-park figure that the casino's would charge for this service?

    @Jem - This is suppose to be for work so going to peoples houses isnt the best of ideas. I play poker at my place every week with a few mates from home.

    @Cuban Son - I've PM'd you
