    Hi All,

I don't know if anyone is interested but said i would put up a post saying that Waterford Intermediates are in the All-Ireland Final. It is on saturday throw in at 6 in Nowlan Park in Kilkenny. Waterford are playing Wexford and it is just pay on the gate. I would think i'l head down myself especially after the disappointment against Limerick in Croker last week.
Just to quickly go back on that game in croker i think the GAA setup is a disgrace, the only reason waterford lost that match is because of the 2 cork matches took everything out of them. The cork waterford match should have been decided the first day, it should not have went to a replay and No that is not being biased because im from waterford. A limerick supporter told me that.
Any opinions on any of this feel free to reply.

Its very hard to get it right. The last time we won munster we lost to Kilkenny in the semi and everyone blamed the six week layoff after the final. Now we blame the 3 games in 2 weeks. Its just excuses really isn't it?

I suppose your right, i don't know what exactly it is. The big stage just seems to get to them. I heard a stat there after the semi final that waterford have lost 5 semis since 1998, 4 under justin and 1 in 1998 under gerald. I really think if they could just get over the hurdle of the semi they would win an all ireland, anyway maybe next year. Up the Deise always and 4eva.

I think that Limerick fan was trying to make you feel better Beats. Truth is Waterford hit 17 wides and had a couple of late chances to win but wasted them .As for the Intermediate Final I 'd like to see Waterford win but Wexford have had good Intermediate teams in the last few years. They won it in 2005. It might take the sting out of it for ye if the Decies can take home a second trophy this year.

Ya hopfully they can bring it home would be nice. It would be 3 trophies if we do, the munster title, league title and intermediate one if we win it. I don't think that would be a bad season of hurling by any means but hopfully next year we can go one step further in the all ireland series. I know we will be there or thereabouts in august september. All we can do is hope. Up the Deise

Good luck to Waterford. Even though they failed to make the AI final things are moving in the right track.Fair play to your County Board for that.

A victory for Wexford, Wexford 1-11 Waterford 1-09. Makes up in a way for losing the All-Ireland Junior football final. Roll on the camogie
