    Address...........300 Ogunlati Street
    City.................Ojota
    State...............Lagos State
    Zip code..........23401
    Country...........Nigeria

    Regards

I emailed ebay saying I suspected a scam but have had no reply. What do I do now.Do ebay take the usual 24 hours or so to respond. Is this email enough to convince them that it is a scam.Do I have to go through the motiones of recieving a fake payment before any action is taken. From buying I know it's normal to get a total cost including p+p and pay now via ebay, but I've never need a paypal email address to send payments. I need a bit of clarity here, first time this has happened to me and I'm all confused:D
Actually africa wasn't listed on my send to places. Should I just tell him to foff.

Why do they always use Nigeria?:D

I pity the honest people that do live there, they must never be able to buy anything online.

Happy to say the bidder was banned and the item relisted. Restored the little faith I had in ebay (was ripped off a few years back).

If you haven't done so already, make sure you file an Unpaid Item Dispute for the first listing so you get your Final Value Fee back. You should get it back instantly as the buyer is NARU. Also, make sure you strengthen you Buyer Requirements. You can do so in the Preferences section in your My eBay. Also, a mobile phone at a BIN price on eBay is like a picnic basket to Yogi Bear. You might want to require immediate payment on the item. You have the option to do this in the Sell Your Item form. If you tick this requirement, the buyer has to pay you through PayPal before the listing ends.

    Brilliant!... :D:D:D

There is some honest guy in Lagos, wondering why he cant buy on ebay!

"Why me! - i am honest and want to pay for this using my "Vissa" card"

    :D:D:D

That had me rolling with laughter on the floor!

Its like the guy on phonejacker!

How does it turn into a scam if the guy is going to pay?

All the scams I see are putting me off ever buying off ebay.. and I'd love to buy loads of crap. :o

If the guy pays with a stolen credit card or paypal account the money will come to you but get refunded when the owner of the stolen account reports it.
