    Hi all,

I am just trying to set this thing up in MS Word XP where i have a letter template which i use everyday and I want the date to automatically update each day without having to retype. I am fairly sure there is a way to do this but I cannot figure it out:confused: . Any help appreciated:)

Go to tab 'insert' to 'date and time' choose format and Eureka!

There is an update automatically option too.

Be very careful with this in case it date stamps the letter with the current date, instead of the date originally intended. Real pain with year old letters getting todays date.
