I don't see the purpose of the survey.
The only thing it told me is that most of the people who took it are middle class American christians, who are somewhat fearful of life.

i didnt know the purpose of life was in debate? i thought that the reason for life was to better yourself and optionally the rest of your species? i know there are still a few morons around in itreland and a good few in less develped countries who belive that the purpose of life has something to do with some sort of magical being who wished or dreamed the world into existence but thankfully they are becomming a dying breed.

well i helped with that survey so much....didn't fill in anything that needed to be typed. "What do you and other people miss from their lives?" I know what im missing in my life i dunno bout anyone else for fook sake.

Arbitary questions such as these are hardly philosophical barometers to measure whether or not we know what life is.

For most of us life is getting up in the morning and putting bread on the table.

Why do you have to "better" yourself? And what does that mean, also? Education? Family? Work?

Can you not just be happy, and that can be your pupose?

At one point, i thought that if i could sleep with 1 million women (thus somewhere along the line accomplishing the reproduction bit) then i'd be told the purpose of life by some higher power.
Therefore the purpose in life was to sleep with 1 million women. However, i realised i don't exactly have a million hours. Now it might be possible, i was calculating it on about an hour per woman. But even so, not being a premature ejaculator makes it still seem nigh on impossible.
