I have had O2 broadband for a while now, but is there a way to keep an eye on the amount of data I use as it adds up during the month?

Apart from the tab on your O2 broadband setup on the pc, you can also login to your O2 account, select My Account and then broadband and it will show you your combined usage and usage by date
